RED FLAG PROCEDURES
In the event of a server disconnection the following procedures have been agreed by the team managers
- An SRC Admin will throw a red flag into the #proper-one-announcements channel
- The time it takes to get the server up and running will be removed from the remaining race time
- A 15 minute to race resumption will be announced at this point the server will be back up and running with a 15 minute practice session to apply any setups and do any relevant driver swaps before race resumption
- The allocated Starting driver in #team-confirmations must join the server first
Race Start and Restart
Standard Race Start will involve 1 full formation lap with an aided rolling start all teams must remain in their green box until green flag
A restarted race start will see a short formation lap in place again with all teams needing to remain in their green box until race resumption
Penalties
Any incidents that you may be involved in must be reported in the #incident-reporting channel, incident reporting will open immediately after the conclusion of the race and will remain open for 24 hours only.
Both Standard Race Start and the Restart will be applicable to the following:-
Any team found at fault for causing a collision on the first lap of will be subject to a drive through penalty
Once the decision has been made and sent in #live-incident-outcomes. You will have 5 laps to complete the drive through penalty.
For every lap in which the drive through penalty has not been completed an additional 10s Stop and Go will be applied.
SIM Racing Club reserves the right to disqualify any team or driver from the event that we feel isn't driving at the expected standard, this includes and is not limited too (Intentional collisions, poor discord chat etiquette)
