QRT | 10 HOURS OF Kyalami - CHARITY EVENT
We have decided to bring you a 10 Hour Charity Race, this time with an extraordinary twist!
We are raising money for Help for Heroes which is a charity setup to help ex-armed forces members and their families:
"We support veterans and their families by giving life-changing support, no matter when or where they served."
EVENT SCHEDULE
- Practice: 10:00hrs BST (60M)
- Drivers Briefing: 10:45hrs BST (15M)
- Race: 11:05hrs BST (10HR)
CAR CLASSES AND GRID SLOTS
THE FUNDRAISING TWIST...
This event is FREE to enter, but, if you make a donation when you enter, that is kept to a "leaderboard", and in part that sets your qualifying position, grid will be determined on the 26th September so payments must be completed before then. All other unpaid entries are then randomised a grid slot (in their respective class).In short, the highest donation gets Pole Position!
DONATIONS
When donating, please put your car number in the donation list so we can ensure your grid slot is assigned correctly and we can broadcast who gave who the penalty for some extra fun...
You can only add a MAXIMUM of 40kg, any donation received to +40kg a car that has already got +40kg, will be gratefully received, but no action taken in terms of further application of ballast.

- +40kg - £20
You can only deduct a MAXIMUM of 40kg, any donation received to -40kg a car that has already got -40kg, will be gratefully received, but no action taken in terms of further reduction of ballast.

The following Penalties/Donations can be used a MAXIMUM of TWICE, per HOUR, per CAR:
- DT - £10
- SG10 - £15
- SG20 - £30
- SG30 - £50

STEWARDING, BROADCAST & INCIDENT REPORTING
This series WILL be broadcast live on "QRT_Motorsports" on Twitch. There will be LIVE stewarding - details to follow.
Incidents can be reported Post Race via the 'Race Control' #incident-tickets section of the Discord, and will be investigated by the stewards after the race.
SERVERS
Practice servers will be live for you to use.
