✍️ Event Details:

The SOP Motorsport Nascar Cup Summer Series will begin at 9pm UK time for every round and will have the same format at every round. Each round begins with 15 minutes of practice to allow every driver to join and for drivers to get accustomed to the conditions, before a 5 minute/2 lap qualifying period, followed by the race which is different lengths each round.

For every race each driver will get a maximum incident count of 24 points before being disqualified. Full course cautions will be active for every round, along with wave arounds and lucky dogs, there will also be unlimited fast repairs in this series to make it more exciting having as many drivers as possible in contention come the final lap every round.

Each race will feature a two stage process, stage 1 being at 50% distance, with whoever is leading the race at the 50% mark when they cross the line getting an extra 5 points added to their totals after each round. Followed by the final stage being the race to the chequared flag. There will not be a stage break in the race however, so no competition caution at 50% distance. Everyone just continues racing as normal until the chequered flag.

Just like the real series, Phoenix Raceway will hold the final race of the season and this will be the championship race, all points are reset for the final and whoever is in the top 5 positions in the championship heading into Phoenix can walk away as champion. The final race won't have a two stage process. It's simple, whoever finishes highest out of the top 5 in the final round is the SOP Motorsport Nascar Cup Summer Series Champion! Plus it is also a Dash 4 Cash race which means anyone in the championship can win the $80 winner takes all cash prize, so you want to go out there and beat everyone regardless.

Note - To be eligible to enter this championship you must not be a Rookie and you must have an oval D licence + iRating of at least 1000iR - we will not be allowing any rookies licence drivers to enter this championship and you will not be able to join the servers.

🏆 The Prizes:

The prizes to win in this Nascar Cup Series comes from the four dash for cash races we have during the season, each of the dash for cash races have $80 dollars on the line and it is a winner takes all, $320 dollars maximum can be won by one driver. Everyone is eligible to win the dash for cash prizes regardless of position in the championship but to claim the cash for dash prizes at the end of the series you must complete all 8 rounds.

👨‍✈️ Stewarding:

All in game penalties will stand in this series, so if you get a black flag for any reason during the races they will stand. Usual things to get yourself a black flag will be speeding in the pit lane or not returning a position under yellows resulting in pit lane hold time or dropping to the rear of the field on a restart.

Any form of intentional wrecking will see a driver disqualified from the championship entirely. Whilst we know crashes can happen in oval racing because of the high-speed close nature of it, we have a zero tolerance policy of doing it intentionally.

🎙️ Broadcasting:

All SOP Motorsport Nascar Cup Summer Series rounds will have a live broadcast and commentary team present on our Twitch channel bringing you all the action live! You want to be here to witness the thrill of speedway racing, the inevitable crashes and the final lap dash to the line!
