FERRARI ESPORTS SERIES 2024 - ASSETTO CORSA RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

The protection of the dignity of the individual involved in Sim Racing is a fundamental construct of the Ferrari Esports Series. The specific rules for the behavior of drivers and teams (and their associates) are as follows:

1. Participation Rules
   • Drivers must be at least 16 years old.
   • You must use your real first and last name on your SimGrid account.
   • You must use your real first and last name on the Ferrari Esports Series Discord Server.
2. Grand Finals
   • Drivers who qualify for the Grand Final are required to attend the on-site event in December.
   • Drivers must ensure they possess all necessary travel documents.
   • Drivers who qualify for the Grand Final will have their travel expenses covered by the Organizer
3. Hardware Requirements
   • Drivers must do all that they can to have a stable internet connection;
   • Drivers with ping above 250 ms and/or rubber banding will be monitored;
     • Drivers who persistently have issues with their internet connection pose a risk to others and could potentially be asked to retire and leave the server.
   • Wi-FI, mobile hotspot and VPN connections are common causes of unstable connection. Please avoid using these types of connections wherever possible.
   • You must own a computer that meets the minimum game requirements.
   • You must race using either;
     • Wheel and Pedals
     • Gamepad (controller)
   • You must own a webcam or mobile phone for video connection for use in Regional Qualifiers and Regional Finals
4. Software Requirements
   • To be allowed to join this competition, you must own;
     • A legal PC copy of Assetto Corsa
   • Downloadable Content (DLC) and/or Modified Files (Mods)
     • On Assetto Corsa, the Ferrari Esports series will use the following MOD content that you must own;
       • Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO MOD - For use at all rounds of the series
       • Imola MOD (Regional Qualifier only)
       • Laguna Seca MOD (Regional Finals only)
       • Nürburgring MOD (Regional Finals only)
   • It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that they own the content required to participate in the series.
   • Any content that the user does not own, will need to be purchased at the users own expense.
5. Telemetry & replays
   • It is mandatory that drivers record the replays on all laps set in official sessions of the Ferrari Esports Series;
     • Official sessions refers to the;
       • Hotlap Qualifiers;
       • All sessions of the Regional Qualifiers;
       • All sessions of the Regional Finals
       • All sessions of the Grand Finals
     • Failure to record and provide replays if requested by the Series Organizer will result in a penalty/disqualification.
     • Instructions on how to provide the or replays will be given in the event that the Organizer requests this information.
6. Custom Liveries
   • Drivers participating in the Regional Qualifiers, Regional Finals and Grand Finals will be required to use custom liveries that are provided by the Organizer;
     • The liveries will be made available to the drivers here on the Ferrari Esports website, and also the Ferrari Esports Discord server.
   • Drivers are strictly prohibited to use any other livery during these rounds of the competition.
   • In the Hotlap Qualifiers, drivers can use any livery of their choice, but are recommended to use plain liveries (liveries without logos)
7. Streaming Guidelines
   • Streaming Guidelines are still to be confirmed and will updated in due course.
