OVERVIEW Welcome to the second SOP Motorsport GT Challenge World Endurance Series! This series comes after the completion of our first season of endurance championships and the fact there is a shift for more endurance racing within ACC generally. We are back bigger and better than before. For this championship instead of trophies we will have a prize pool of $300USD and each round in this endurance series will now be 6 hour races meaning 30 hours of competitive action. There will be only one split for this series with a 45 team maximum capacity so it is a first come first serve basis. Within your teams you can have a 2-4 driver line up and you are able to change drivers in that team every round if you so wish to do. This means we will see 45 teams and upto 180 drivers competing at every round to become the season 2 SOP Motorsport GT Challenge world endurance champions.

REGISTRATION PROCESS This endurance championship has a $20usd team entry fee payable on entering. If you are running as a 4 driver team this works out at $1USD a driver per round. To register for this championship, click the "Register Team" button and select your team, the drivers of the car, car class and car. There is a $20usd team entry fee as mentioned before. This is to cover all the costs to run such championship from prize pool, administration, servers, broadcasting, commentary & stewarding. Teams can register 2-4 drivers per team upon initial entry but can change every driver at every round if you wish. The drivers must be selected 48 hours prior to each race. If any changes are made after that there will be a $5usd admin fee. If you wish to participate in this event you will need to join the SOP Motorsport discord to stay upto date.

STEWARDING The SOP Motorsport GT Challenge World Endurance Series will have both Live Race stewarding and Post Race stewarding. During the race you can contact stewards via the discord where we will have a dedicated incident channel and then this same channel can be used for anything post race that still needs action taken on.
RULES PIT STOPS AND STINTS The series imposes a 65 minutes driver stint limit. The stint timer stops when you enter the pitlane and is reset upon exiting the pit lane (unless you are serving a penalty). The game will automatically apply a Drive Through penalty if the stint limit is exceeded. Each driver must drive at least one stint during each race. Teams will receive a penalty of 130 seconds if a driver does not drive a stint. There is no maximum driver time and there are no mandatory number of pit stops.
BOP This series BOP will impose a popularity ballast, meaning the more popular a car is, the more ballast it will receive. The ballast will be as follows:
14 or more of one manufacturer: 25kg
10 or more of one manufacturer: 20kg
6 or more of one manufacturer: 15kg
POINTS SYSTEM Points will be awarded to every team at each race. The points allocated for each position is 1st = 100 to 45th = 1 with 2 extra points up for grabs to the team who record the fastest lap.
ABSENT TEAM MATE This is a driver swap series where each team is required to have minimum 2 drivers at a race. If you originally signed up with a 4 driver team but only 2 or 3 drivers can make an event, as long as you have removed that third or fourth driver from your team before that 48 hour mark there will be no issues. However, if you forget to do this and enter the event without paying the admin fee of $5USD your team will receive a penalty due to not all drivers completing a stint or worse than that and not be able to compete in the round.
CUSTOM LIVERIES Custom liveries made outside of the game are permitted in this series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game's developers. The Series will be live streamed on Twitch and custom liveries can be shared to the stream broadcaster in a dedicated channel on the SOP Motorsport discord. Lets see who can be the most adventurous within the boundaries. Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see the team banned from the series. To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries cause, we suggest that teams run the livery but without the .png file. Do not run the liveries of other teams under any circumstances. The files are shared for use of the broadcaster only.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES If a team is unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the "Races" tab, and then "Admin" on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Teams are permitted one withdrawal in this series. Missing a race without withdrawal will result in disqualification. If a team has withdrawn from a race, but wish to attend the race after all, please contact a member of the Event Admin team as the slot may have already been filled by a Reserve team. If you are a reserve team, you can see if teams have withdrawn from a round on the same "Admin" tab on each round. If you see a team has withdrawn and you wish to take their place, please contact a member of the Event Admin team.
