Welcome Rookies! OTL will be hosting their third Rookie league in ACC, strictly for drivers who are new to the game, feel they need to improve on pace and consistency, or who have competed previously in our AM category in the main GT3 league (As long as they have not been promoted to PRO since!) The main aim of this league is to allow less experienced drivers the opportunity to improve their race craft & have some fun while doing so.
We have had great success with our rookie leagues so far and have stuck to the more predictable GT4 cars. This time we have something special for you that should make things interesting!
This time Big v Small will be coming your way with GT3 and GT4 cars on the grid, but with a twist. Only those cars that have a Big and Small version will be allowed - Aston Martin, Audi, McLaren, Mercedes.
Please note that this league is on Tuesday evenings.
All drivers including previous drivers are expected to complete an evaluation race for this league. Two evaluation races normally run two weeks prior to the season start.
As always, every race will be streamed live with commentary on the OTL Twitch channel. We hope to see new people racing with us, as well as many regulars. To get involved please join the OTL discord at https://otlracing.com/discord. The signups are limited to 50 drivers.
REGISTRATION
Signups are first come first served. Once signups are full there are 10 reserve spots where if a full-time spot were to open the first reserve would take their place.
You can sign up to either GT4 or GT3 class. If you are unsure feel free to ask an admin in the OTL discord. The classes will be reviewed in the opening stages of the championship and adjusted if needed (This may mean re-assigning drivers to a different car/class)

STEWARDING
There is live stewarding for this series, however after the race you can report incidents with our form which can be found in our discord.

BOP
We will be using the default 2020 BoP this season with no adjustments.
WITHDRAWING FROM A ROUND
It is important to notify us if you can attend each round. If you cannot attend a race you can simply click the "WITHDRAW" button in the races page of the championship on The Sim Grid website under the admin tab of the specific round. If you don't attend a race without withdrawing you will receive penalty points that carry over into other championships and can potentially get you DSQ from the championship.
