Welcome to the SOP Motorsport Road To Le Mans - iRacing Season 1
The Road To Le Mans iRacing Season 1 by SOP Motorsport is here for the Autumn season of the year, taking you through the three months of October, November, and December. Two rounds each month in a 6-round championship. This will be a multi-class championship comprising of: GT3, GTP, and LMP2 cars, with a mix of free and paid tracks on the calendar.
All roads lead to Le Mans in this championship with the finale being double points and the longest race on the calendar. This championship will feature ONE drop round, MEANING YOUR WORST SCORE IS ERASED FROM YOUR OVERALL POINTS. We will have two extra points for the fastest lap each round.

This championship will have the following cars available for selection in each class:
GT3:
- Mercedes AMG GT3
- Porsche 992 GT3
- Ferrari 296 GT3
- Lamborghini Huracan GT3
- BMW M4 GT3
GTP:
- Cadillac V Series.R Hybrid
- Porsche 963 GTP
- Acura ARX-06 GTP
- BMW M Hybrid V8
LMP2:
Calendar Overview
- 22/10 Round 1 - Daytona International Speedway - Road Course (60 min)
- 29/10 Round 2 - Virginia International Raceway - Full Course (45 min)
- 12/11 Round 3 - Road Atlanta - Full Course (60 min)
- 19/11 Round 4 - spa francorchamps - Endurance (45 min)
- 3/12 Round 5 - sebring international (60 min)
- 10/12 Round 6 - Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans (90 min)
Event Schedule
- Practice: 20:00hrs UK time (30m)
- Qualifying: 20:30hrs UK time (10m / 4 LAPS)
- Race: 20:45hrs UK time (45, 60, 90)
Drop Rounds
There will be one drop round for this championship. If you cannot attend a race please withdraw or sign out from that race in the races tab. If you don't attend a race and don't sign out from that race you will receive 5 penalty points. 10 penalty points will result in automatic disqualification from the championship.
Scoring System
We will be using the official Le Mans scoring system for this championship.
Bonus Points
There will be two bonus points per race for the fastest lap of the race.
Pit Stop Requirements
Every round there will be one mandatory fuel pit stop. Tyres will be optional at all rounds. We will be utilising the iRacing imsa fuel % used in the official series for the 45 mins. With custom fuel % for the 60 mins and then no restrictions for the 90 mins.
Stewarding
There will be post-race stewarding only in this championship and drivers will be able to report incidents on our discord to be reviewed by our stewarding team. We reserve the right to remove drivers from the series for unsportsmanlike conduct.

This series will have a full broadcast production with commentary by our amazing Scottish resident John Wright!
