OVERVIEW
SOP Motorsports are pleased to bring you our next PC sprint series after the success of the GT World Sprint Championship.
Two splits will be available for this 6 race calendar taking us around the world in a Porsche inspired sprint style series. We expect drivers to put themselves in the relevant split based on their own pace as we will not be having pre qualifying. Dont put yourself into split one if you generally finish outside of the top half of a grid and equally dont put yourself in split two if you generally finish in the top half of a grid. The first two rounds will be contested in the Porsche cup car, the next two rounds will be contested in the Porsche GT4 car and the final two rounds will be contested in the Porsche GT3 car.
REGISTRATION
Registration for this championship is open to all members of SOP Motorsport & Sim Grid. On initial sign up you will only be able to select the 2019 GT3 Porsche variation of car - this just confirms your entry to the series. Each round the server will be locked to the specific car class.
EVENT TIMETABLE
All rounds
Practice - 19:30 BST
Qualifying - 19:45 BST
Race - 20:00 BST
PIT STOPS
All races will require one mandatory pit stop. Race lengths will be 45 minutes (Cup Car), 60 minutes (GT4 car) and 90 minutes (GT3 car).
Tyres and fuel will be made Mandatory in these stops and these pit stops can be completed at any point during the race
STEWARDING
All of our races will have post race stewarding for every round. You can submit any incident report at the end of the race via the sim grid website under this championship with footage as evidence. THERE IS A ZERO IN GAME CHAT POLICY when a race is being run, if a driver does so they risk being disqualified and kicked out of the series.
POINTS
All drivers will score points in this championship. 1st place will score 85 points with 35th place taking the final point in the championship. This will be the case for split 1 and split 2
