Introduction

We are back again with a new season, which is slightly different from our European Tour. This time you will have to qualify on Kyalami in order to be put in a split. Depending on the number of sign-ups we will determine how many splits we will run, and how many servers will be used for this. This season will also have 6 rounds, but these will be all over the world.

Qualifying information

In order to be able to join our World Tour GT3 season you need to set 4 valid consecutive valid laps, this being on Kyalami. The server will have a 20°C ambient temperature with 30% cloud cover and 0% rain

The qualifying server will open on the 30th of April at 10 PM UTC/6 PM EST and this server will stop on the 14th of May at 10 PM UTC/6 PM EST.

There is no limit to your qualifying attempts, you can do 1000 laps (respect if you do) for example.

All laps will be saved, even when you switch cars. To make sure that your times are shown on the leaderboard, make sure to have the correct car selected on SimGrid (the leaderboard takes a while to update the cars).

This qualifying server is brought to you by the Rapid Drivers Club, the leaderboard link is here.

The qualifying server details are in the discord server (scroll down to 🔔info-world-tour):  https://discord.gg/jl-motorsports

Season overview

In case we have 1 server for the championship, then we will start the server at 6:00 PM UTC/2:00 PM EST. If there are multiple servers going to be used, then the higher splits will race at 7:00 PM UTC/3:00 PM EST.

We will notify all of you of what we are going to be doing when the qualifying is complete.

The race weekend will be the following:

  • Free Practice: 10 minutes
  • Qualifying: 15 minutes
  • Race: 45 minutes
