Next Round:

NXTGEN Racing European GT3 Challenge Series

Welcome to NXTGEN Racing first series held with The Sim Grid.

The NXTGEN Racing European GT3 Challenge Series will feature the cars used in the 2020 GT World Challenge Europe, across a 8 round championship. Where we will have prizes up for grabs across all splits and of course the Top split will have live streaming & commentary.

There will be a Pre-Season Qualification process with further details below, and everyone who enters to qualify for the series will be guaranteed a spot in the appropriate split to where you are in the qualifying leaderboards unless signed up as a reserve.

We will be running 6 Splits with 48 drivers in each split, should there be less drivers sign up we will condense the splits to fill up each server to have clean and competitive racing for everyone, if there is more demand we will happily open up more splits

Registration for this series is now open !

Registering to this series will guarantee everyone a place in the series to race unless registration is full and you sign up as a reserve. In the event a driver drops out from the championship reserves will take there place in an appropriate split.

To stay fully up to date and be able to attend the drivers briefing everyone who registers must join our community discord server - NXTGEN Racing Discord

The qualifying process for this championship will feature a hot lap qualifying around the british circuit of Brands Hatch.
Server information can be found on the NXTGEN Racing Discord

Qualifying will take place from 14/06/21 until 18/06/21 (Midnight)

The final day for car changes will be midnight 13/06/21, so the car you qualify in will be your car for the season

All Drivers that enter the series will be required to pay the relevant entry fee, the entry fee is $16USD

The entry fee is equivalent to approximately $2 per round, this will be the fee a reserve driver is required to pay as a one-off 1 Round entry.

If a driver was to fully withdraw from the series will result in no refund and the entry fee required for a replacement driver would be the splits $/round fee x rounds remaining.

Split 1

Split 2 - 6

All Splits Position 1,2 & 3 will receive trophies with custom engraving with the racing series & your name

Prizes are to be confirmed before qualifying begin

The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this sprint series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user.

Races in Split 1 will be live streamed on YouTube and custom liveries can be shared in a dedicated channel on discord for the stream broadcaster to run. Custom Liveries MUST also have the NXTGEN Racing, The Sim Grid & Coach Dave Academy logos on the car.

Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see that driver banned from the series.

To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file. Do not run the liveries of other teams under any circumstances. The files are shared for use of the broadcaster only.

If you are unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the `Races` tab, and then `Admin` on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Drivers are permitted 3 withdrawals in this series. Missing a race without withdrawal will result in disqualification.

If a driver has withdrawn from a race, but wish to attend the race after all, please contact a member of the admin team as the slot may have already been filled by a Reserve team.

If you are a reserve driver, you can see if anyone has withdrawn from a round on the same `Admin` tab on each round. If you see a team has withdrawn and you wish to take their place, please contact a member of the admin team.

Reserve drivers are expected to be available at the event time on race day so they can race if other drivers fail to turn up without reporting absence.
