OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Track Titan-sponsored Sprint Championship. The Track Titan mission: Get you faster with automated insights and the best educational content in sim racing. Its also how you can win the prizes on offer with an active account.
You must join our DISCORD. This championship will feature 7 rounds. We will have a PRO class (24 drivers) and a SILVER class (24 drivers) in this series so we can crown two separate champions. If we have the interest we will create a whole new grid so there would be PRO as one split and SILVER as one split with 40 drivers in each. It will be down to the driver to pick the class they think they belong in. But we reserve the right to move drivers either up a class or down a class depending on the overall pace of the class both before round 1 and after round 1, with the relevant points being applied as to where they would have finished should the driver move.
V1.9 UPDATE
If you have chosen a manufacturer car that is going to be an evolution or upgrade in the latest update you are allowed to change vehicle to that for the remainder of the championship once the update drops. So rounds 1 & 2 you compete in the old versions (the 12th & 19th), in rounds 3 and onwards you use the new versions. We have also reserved the track selection for rounds 5 & 6 for any new tracks that can potentially drop. If no new tracks enter ACC we will announce which tracks will fill the 5th & 6th rounds respectively.
PRIZES
The champions in each class will win real motorsport trophies. The champions in each class will also get a 6-month free subscription to Track Titans plus membership. 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each class will get a 3-month and 1-month free subscription to Track Titans plus membership respectively. All drivers that complete 6 or more rounds will also enter a prize draw to win £50 as a completion bonus of the championship.
REGISTRATION
The first 24 drivers to register in each class will secure a slot in the series. We will have unlimited reserves for each class in this championship so if registration is full, take one of the reserve spots in the class you believe you should be in and you will be moved into a permanent spot if a driver withdraws or we will create two entirely separate splits.
EVENT TIMETABLE
Practice - 20:00 BST (10 minutes) Qualifying - 20:10 BST (20 minutes - 10 minutes per split) Race - 20:30 BST (60+90 minute races)
PIT STOPS AND STINTS
Every round will require one mandatory stop but there will not be any requirements in the pit stop, this is entirely free choice. We will be deploying a 40-minute max stint timer to all 60-minute races with no stint timer for the 90-minute finale.
STEWARDING
This series will adopt post-race stewarding only. Follow the incident report feature within the SOP Discord.
RULES
After every round, this series will impose success penalties on the top 3 in each class. 1st place - 15s pen, 2nd place - 10s pen, 3rd place - 5s pen. The top 18 in each split will score points. There are also 2 points for the fastest lap of the race. This championship also features a drop score meaning your worst round will not count in your overall points.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this sprint series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user. Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see that driver banned from the series. To avoid the significant lag custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery without the .png file. and that they do not load any other drivers' livery into their own pc.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES
If a driver is unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the `Races` tab, and then `Admin` on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Please check the info tab to see how many sign-outs are permitted. If a driver has withdrawn from a race but wishes to attend the race after all, please contact a staff member as a reserve driver may already have filled the slot.
