RACEONOZ - RIVALRY WITH RESPECT

As a community we aim to provide fun, clean and fair racing. The foundations of this community are fulfillment, nurturing development, comradery, etiquette, courtesy, respect and being fair and reasonable. There is no live stewarding in our races and post race penalties are a last resort. We expect drivers to fair and reasonable room for their fellow competitors and tone down the aggression - this is just for fun after all. Accidents do happen but drivers should redress if they know they've caused it. If this all sounds good to you then read on!

2023 MONDAY NIGHT LEAGUE

INDIVIDUAL & TeamS GT3 Championship - SEASON 1

This is a GT3 championship with drivers having free car choice from the GT3 class. Once a driver has started their first round in a car they cannot change to a different car. We run with three competitor classes all on track simultaneously - AM, SILVER & PRO.

DISCORD & FORUM

In order to race in this championship you must be allocated a competitor class (AM, SILVER or PRO) by the RaceOnOz ACC League. For new members this requires completing a qualifying hotstint as well as at least two casual races with our community. To do this you must register on our Discord Server and follow the instructions. You may optionally join our Website Forum which contains a large part of our community's information and history as well as many other active RaceOnOz leagues.

Teams Championship Details

  • The TDP and Admins assign signed-up drivers to teams in the most balanced way we can.
  • New season sign-ups will be assigned to a team based on that philosophy. Team requests are at the discretion of the TDP & Admins and may be refused.
  • The Teams Championship runs across all three driver classes and is unrelated to manufacturers.
  • The Teams Championship has no effect on the individual championship - it runs in parallel.
  • Team points are the sum of those scored individually by the 'eligible' scoring drivers in that round.
  • Eligible scoring drivers per team each round are the first five (5) drivers of that team (after penalties are applied)
  • We will be using SimGrid's system so the SimGrid team standings will be official.
  • Each team has it's own channel for team exclusive communications.
  • Team captains are there to help team members with tips, setups, strategy, encouragement, etc.
  • This is only the PC ACC league's 2nd season of The Teams Championship and we may need to make adjustments on the fly to make it work better.
Driver Name Team Abbreviation: We thought it would be great if the team abbreviation appeared at the end of each driver's surname in the broadcasts and results sheets. To save the Admin Team lots of manual work, each driver could add the abbreviation into their SimGrid profile surname themselves!

We do understand that some drivers may prefer not to do this especially if they race in other series' on SimGrid so this is not compulsory. We'll try to find find time to add those abbreviations manually. However for drivers who don't mind doing this please add your team abbreviation after your surname following the example.

Format: After your Surname put a space then a pipe symbol then a space then the 3 letter abbreviation

[First name] [Surname | ABC] (the pipe symbol is located on the backslash key above the enter key on the right side of the keyboard layout)

Example: Neil Faichney | ICR
