Overview
The championship is a solo driver sprint series starting at 8PM eastern time. It will consist of 8 races, each race will be 60 minutes and will have 1 MANDATORY pitstop ( Fuel and Tires )
Everyone who registers for this event must join our community discord server. If you haven't done so already, please follow us here on Sim Grid and join our discord! Follow the steps in the #new_member folder to gain access to the discord features and race information!

- All drivers are to be respectful to each other as close racing is expected.
- Please be mindful that there may be slower drivers and use caution when overtaking.
- If you cause or are involved in an incident, please report it to our stewards in our discord ( #reporting )
- Do not wait after an incident, continue racing and the incident will be reviewed after the race. ( YOU MUST REPORT WITHIN 24HOURS )
Registration
ATTENTION: ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THIS CHAMPIONSHIP MUST COMPLETE A 6 LAP STINT ON OUR LICENSE SERVER (SEE OUR DISCORD COMMUNITY FOR MORE INFORMATION)
THE EVENT REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 7PM EASTERN TIME ON RACE DAY!
This championship is open to 40 drivers, please select the split for your current pace (see time table below). If the championship is full, feel free to register as a reserve!
Classes
The lap times are based on an average of a 25 minute race stint and are not qualifying or hot laps. See timetable below.
- Pro: Faster or 1.4 seconds off listed times
- Silver: +1.5 to 3.4 seconds off listed times
- AM: +3.5 or more seconds off listed times
Event Timetable
Sprint Race
- The event server will open at 20:00 Eastern Time*
- Qualifying will start at 21:00 Eastern Time*
- Race will start at approximately 21:15 Eastern Time**
Race Format
- 60 Minute Practice
- 15 Minute Qualifying
- 60 Minute Race
- Lowest Scored Round will be DROPPED
- 1 Mandatory Pit Stop - Fuel/Tires REQUIRED
- Weather will be set using the real forecast for race day! ( Weather will be locked in on the Sunday prior to the race )
- In-game time progression will be set at a random 1-2x time progression
- All events will have a maximum of 10 tire sets
Prizes
Championship prizes for all classes will be handmade trophies/plaques or a cash pay out!
- 1st - $50
- 2nd - $40
- 3rd - $30
Return To Garage
- Using the Return to Garage (RTG) feature will be allowed during Practice, Qualifying, and Races
- If your car is too damaged or you do now want to continue, please exit the server so it doesn't impede others from using their pit box.
- When using the RTG feature, please make sure you are in a safe place and off the track/racing line so you do not cause an accident with another driver.
Stewarding
There will be post-race stewarding AND monitored with Race Control. Waiting after an incident on track WILL NOT BE REQUIRED in
any championship race for any reason. Please submit all incident
reports within 24 hours through our #reporting folder on discord. The
stewards will review the footage/information provided after the race,
and they will implement penalties if necessary.
Custom Liveries
If you are using a custom livery, please add them to our Awesome Simracing page here: https://alpha.awesome-simracing.com/collection/234.
Keep in mind the game’s developers do not officially support them, and
their use can induce significant latency issues for other users, as well
as lag spikes when people join the server. To avoid the considerable
lag that custom liveries can cause, we suggest that drivers/teams run
the livery without the .png file.
Withdraw and Reserves
If
you are unavailable to attend the event, head to the “Races” tab, then
click on “Admin” and click withdraw. 4 "no-shows" will result in you
being disqualified from the series.
