SOP Motorsports British GT Championship

OVERVIEW

SOP Motorsports are pleased to bring you our next PC series after the success of the EVO Challenge.

A full calendar replica of the 2020 British GT championship with the inclusion of Spa which has been a feature in the British GT championship for some years now.

REGISTRATION

Registration for this championship is open to all members of SOP Motorsport and The Sim Grid.

EVENT TIMETABLE

Rounds 1,2,3

Practice - 19:00 GMT
Qualifying - 19:15 GMT
Race - 19:30 GMT

Rounds 4,5,6,7

Practice - 19:00 BST
Qualifying - 19:15 BST
Race - 19:30 BST

PIT STOPS

All 60 minute races will require no mandatory pit stops, so these are lights to flag rounds.

All 90 minute races require 1 mandatory stop for fuel and tyres. The stops can be completed at any time during the race.

The 2 hour race at Spa will require 2 mandatory pit stops. Only tyres will be made Mandatory in these stops and these pit stops can be completed at any time during the race.

STEWARDING

All of our races will have post race stewarding for every round. You can submit any incident report at the end of the race via the sim grid website under this championship with footage as evidence. There will be zero in game chat used when a race is being run, if a driver does so they risk being disqualified and kicked out of the series.

POINTS

The top 24 drivers will score points in the championship. 1st place will score 35 points with 24th place taking the final point in the championship. All those below 24th score 0 points.
