Description and Instructions

Shakedown SimRacing - Teams Endurance - Series 1 of 2023 OVERVIEW

NOTE: This series has been cancelled due to low numbers.

Welcome to Shakedown, now held with The Sim Grid. This Series will be held from Feb 26 until Apr 9 featuring 4 Tracks!

We also offer Live Commentary, hosted with Kidbyers on Twitch, featuring Trev and Cameron.

To stay fully up to date, everyone who wishes to participate with Shakedown, must be in the Discord!

SERIES INFORMATION

This will be a short Teams Endurance Series, featuring Driver Swaps in a 3 Hour Format. Weather will always be variable, so there will be a chance for things to spice up during the Events. 

RACE DAY TIMETABLE

Practice 1 - 5:00pm AEDT (60min)

Qualifying 1 - 6:00pm AEDT (15min)

Race 1 - 6:20pm AEDT (180min)

PIT STOPS / DRIVER INFORMATION

  • Max Stint Time: 70min
  • Max Driver Time: 140min
  • Drivers per Team: 2
  • 1x Compulsory Driverswap will be required per Race.
  • No Pit Window
  • Full Formation Lap
  • Driver Swap Command is to be used during Practice only. The Driver to Qualifies, is to start the Race

CAR CLASSES

We bracket each Driver into either - PRO / PRO-AM / AM - this Information is based on your performance and can be found in Discord.

RACE LIST

On the Race List tab, you will see that we have input the Server Time along with the Ambient Temp we will be using for each Round.

We also use some Cloud Cover of around 30%. So be sure to take this into account when you're doing practice!
