🚦 Driving Standards

1. Racing Room & Overtakes

  • Inside move: You must be clearly alongside before the apex and remain in control. No dive-bombs.

  • Outside move: You must be ahead at the apex to be entitled to space on exit.

  • If a car has earned the corner, room must be given.

2. Chicanes & Esses

  • Corner priority is usually decided at the first turn of the sequence.

  • Do not force another car off track through multiple corners.

3. Car Control

  • Drivers must remain predictable and in control at all times.

  • Lunges, late reactions, or unrealistic moves (within GT7 physics) may be penalised.

4. Track Limits

  • At least two wheels must remain on track at all times.

  • Gaining time or positions by leaving the track is prohibited.

  • Repeated abuse may result in penalties.

5. Lasting Advantage

  • If you leave the track and gain or retain a position, it must be returned immediately.

  • Cutting corners or using run-off areas while defending is not permitted.

6. Defending

  • One defensive move per straight only.

  • No weaving or late reactions.

  • No moving under braking, except naturally following the racing line.

7. Rejoining the Track

  • Rejoin safely and predictably.

  • Do not force other drivers to brake or change line.

8. Impeding & Etiquette

  • No unnecessary slow, erratic, or dangerous driving.

  • Respect blue flags and qualifying etiquette at all times.

πŸ“ Race Incident Review Guidelines

This space is for constructive review, not arguments.

The aim is to learn, improve, and keep racing clean, fair, and enjoyable for everyone.

πŸ“‹ Incident Reporting Rules

  • All reports must include clear evidence
(video clip, replay timestamp, or stream link)

  • Reports must be submitted within 24 hours of the race start

  • Reports submitted after 24 hours will not be reviewed

πŸ—³οΈ Community Voting Process

Once a valid report is submitted:

  • A poll will be created asking:
     β€œIs this a penalty?”
    Options: Yes / No

  • All league drivers may vote, except those involved in the incident

  • Voting closes 48 hours after the race start

πŸ“Œ How to Post an Incident

  • One incident = one thread

  • Do not combine multiple incidents in a single post

  • A clear title is required, including:

    • Round

    • Race

    • Lap

  • Example:
     Round 3 – Race 1 – Lap 12 – Turn 1 Collision

  • Evidence is mandatory
Reports without evidence will not be reviewed

βš–οΈ Penalty System (Per League)

  • First penalty: –10 championship points

  • Second penalty: –15 championship points

  • Third penalty: One-race ban

Penalties are tracked per league and reset at the start of the next league.
Admins reserve the right to apply harsher penalties for serious or repeated incidents.
