Races will usually be held on Wednesdays at 08:30pm Malta time for practice, 09:00pm Malta time for Qualifying, and immediately after Qualifying, the race will start
As per the above, there will be 30 minutes practice, one 18 minute qualifying session, and 50% race laps.
Intentional crashing into others will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from the championship and possibly even future MFRL championships.
Entries for each race will be limited to 20 drivers per race. Drivers will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Drivers will also be allocated to teams randomly once the first race day arrives or the championship is full, whichever comes first.
Missing races after applying for them may result in bans from future races in the championship.
Drivers can apply and miss races for a maximum of 3 times during a championship. Further incidents of this kind will not be allowed.
Races will use the F1 cars. It is important to use the selected car and livery chosen on SimGrid, as entry into the race may not be allowed if not done properly.
Setups are set to OPEN
If you cannot make a race you will need to withdraw from the race.
The stewarding team reviews all reported race incidents postrace. To report a racing incident, you must submit an incident report through the sim grid or our discord channel. The repotting's are checked by the steward team and, if necessary, a fair penalty is imposed.
Latest for opening a ticket is on the following day of the race at 12:00pm
Penalties can be a time penalty or a point penalty. If you are given a point punishment these will be deducted from your race points.
Incidents on the first lap will be looked harder at compared to other incidents. Incidents in turn 1 on the first lap will be looked very harsh at compared to other incidents
The stewards decision is final and will not be discussed.
