SLIPSTREAM INTERNATIONAL - WORLD SERIES '26 S1
🏆Championship structure:
- The championship runs for 8 rounds with a mix of normal races (60 minutes), sprint races (2x30 minutes), and endurance races (90 minutes). The final race of the season (Round 8) is the Title Race. The track will be randomly drawn out of the tracks we don't run after round 7.
- The standings will be separated into solo and teams championships. If you choose to run in the team championship, you will run as teams of two drivers and each drivers OVERALL positions will be counted towards the teams standings. If you want to run in the teams championship and don't have a teammate, you can choose to be placed randomly with another driver.
⚔️Competitiveness:
- Three classes will be created: PRO, PRO/AM and AM. You are required to complete at least one pre-qualifying hotlap on the pre-qualifying server. This is what we will use to determine your class. If you do not complete this lap, you will not be eligible to race.
- If you join mid-season, you are still required to complete your hotlap. You will not be eligible to race if you don't complete it.
- You may be subject to a class change if the admins deem you to be out-performing or under-performing for your class.
- LFM BOP will be used in this series.
- There are 2 drop rounds across the season, so your 2 lowest scoring results will not count to the standings.
🏁Race format:
Each race event features:
- 30-minute official practice
- 5-minute Drivers Briefing in Discord
- 20-minute open qualifying
- Followed by the race
The race will consist of one of three formats:
- Normal Race: One 60 minute race (normal points system)
- These races will have a 50 minute pit window if there are mandatory pit stops.
- Endurance Race: One 90 minute race (double points)
- These races will have an 80 minute pit window if there are mandatory pit stops.
- Sprint Races: Two 30 minute races (half points for each race)
🌧️Weather conditions:
