Overview
Welcome to the North America Converge Endurance Open -- 6 hours of Suzuka! We are a group of relaxed sim racing communities that emphasize discussion and friendly attitudes, where beginners and veterans alike can race together, improve, banter, and - most importantly - have fun with a hobby we all share! Our respective racing leagues are Apollo Racing Club (ARC Discord), Zealous Racing League (ZRL Discord) and Delta Racing League (DRL Discord). We are joining forces with the goal to create larger grids for endurance events based in North American time zones. This event is open to all drivers and not just drivers currently involved in our racing leagues.
This event will be hosted by Delta Racing League and will require drivers be verified on Discord for participation, so please join the DRL Discord server and make sure you follow instructions in #readme-and-rules to get the correct role. DRL requires all drivers have a minimum SA requirement of 50.
If the grid is full, we will remove unverified teams to make space for those on the waitlist who have been verified.
SERVER DETAILS

The server will restart an hour before the qualifying session for a one-hour practice. The time listed on SimGrid is the time that qualifying will begin. During the week prior to the race, the server will be used as a practice server with settings comparable to those during the race.
We expect a mix of drivers from around the world as anyone is welcome to participate; however we do require your ping to be sufficiently good enough to not lead to dangerous lagging for other drivers.
RULES AND RACING STANDARDS

For this endurance race, there will be live stewarding, and the race will also be broadcast live on the DRL YouTube Channel.
FORMAT
- 1 hour Practice session
- 30 minute Qualification session (driver swaps allowed)
- 6 hour Race.
There will be 50 dry tire sets to be used across practice, qualification, and race. Maximum driver stint time will be 65 minutes with cars limited to 2-3 drivers each.
Race start at 3am (in game time) to enjoy the sunrise in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Drivers should expect scattered showers with a high of 28 C.
ENDURANCE RACES
As we hope most of you are aware of: there are some peculiarities with ACC endurance racing. Specifically, it is vital that drivers join in the correct order, with the starting driver joining the server before anyone else. If you fail to do so, you break your entry in the server and you won't be able to participate in the race. If this is your first endurance race, please read up on instructions and you should be fine. Note however that we will not restart the server to reset your entry if you break it.
