Nordschleife has a reputation as the most difficult track and rightly so. Be careful. Defend yourself within reason. Small contacts are acceptable. Contact that leads to abandonments, opponent off-track and generally unpleasant situations means that there will be penalties, if not in this race, certainly in any subsequent ones (see ban). The whole event is done to have a good time and to test our patience, our driving ability over time. Duration is more important in this race than absolute performance.
