Championship specs

As the title says, this championship is designed to act as a career and run for multiple seasons.

Each registered driver has a license that defines: car category (GT4, CUP, GT2, GT3), skill category (AM, SILVER, PRO) and available License Points (12). Every car category has its own skill category (i.e a driver could be PRO in GT4, but SILVER in GT2)

New drivers start in GT4 | AM. At the end of each season, there are promotions or relegations according to specific criteria explained in the sections below.

For the categories with more participants than the available slots, pre-qualifications will be held to determine their entry list.

Drivers who are promoted to higher categories (CUP, GT2 and GT3) have their slot guaranteed in the new category and do not participate in pre-qualifications.

A season is made of 4 races + 1 bonus race. The bonus race has double points.

Minimum car category requirements
  • GT4: Entry point, >4 LP
  • CUP: Top 10 GT4,  >6 LP
  • GT2: Top 10 GTC, >8 LP
  • GT3: Top 9 GT2, >9 LP
If the number of participants in a given category (or more) is less than the number of drivers who would be promoted, the number of its promoted drivers is announced within the start of the season.

Ending the season with less than the required LP, will demote the driver to the slower car category.

Minimum skill category requirements
  • To become AM in any given category (excluding GT4), is enough to be promoted in that category
  • To become SILVER in any given category, a driver must drive at least 4 races in that category
  • To become PRO in any given category, a driver must win at least 3 races in that category
The winner of any given category (excluding GT3), is promoted directly as SILVER in the next category
