The event will rely heavily on iRacing's inbuilt automated stewarding system however, as this is Motorsport UK's first community event we will have a number of stewards on hand to review incidents throughout the event.
To have an incident reviewed, you must submit any protests through the Google Form located here and the stewards will review it and confirm to you the outcome.
PLEASE NOTE: That as a team you will have a maximum of 3 protests available to you throughout the race.
We will only look to penalise anyone who's driving has resulted in a car being 'meatballed' by deliberately crashing, aggressive or disrespectful driving. If someone brakes to late and knocks you off the in-game iRacing system will be used as this is a racing incident. Please choose your protests wisely
The qualifying and race will have broadcast and commentary courtesy of RaceSpot TV, the link will be made available here closer to the event.
The in-sim game time will mirror the traditional date and time of the real-world event. The weather will be set to "Generate" and dynamic sky will be enabled. All sessions after practice will have marbles set to 'Carry Over'
Due to our partnership with Britcar there will be an official decal pack that MUST be applied to each teams car, details of this are as follows
You are encouraged to run your own livery. If you have your own livery please upload it here - Livery Upload Folder The file must be named car_teamid.tga we will then apply the decal layer to it. For reference the layers can be found here
If you do not have your own team livery, for the purposes of the stream you will be allocated one with the correct decal pack
To ensure all liveries are seen on the stream (even if you are not running your own livery) you MUST join our Discord and submit your iRacing Team ID as soon as possible
All liveries submitted must adhere to the iRacing Paint Policy found here (policy updated 08/12/21)
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see the team banned from the race.
