This event will use the SimGrid Code of Conduct and Sporting Code regulations found here.

However, please be aware of the following additional rules that are applicable to this event;

SAFETY CAR

  1. The Coach Dave 6H of Spa will make use of the iRacing Safety Car. The Safety Car will be called out at the discretion of the Admin present.
  2. While under Safety Car, drivers must follow the instructions given to them by the sim.
  3. iRacing will close the pit lane when the Safety Car is first called. While the pit lane is closed, teams should avoid entering the pits otherwise they will be given a penalty;
    1. Any penalty given by iRacing for entering a closed pit lane will not be removed;
    2. To avoid a penalty, teams should only pit once the pit lane has re-opened.
  4. Lapped cars will be given at least 1 wave-around during a Safety Car period;
    1. The lapped car must be in the pack following the Safety Car to receive the wave-around;
    2. Teams can request the wave-around by notifying admins via text/voice chat in-game if necessary.
  5. There is no requirement for the all the cars (lapped or otherwise) to catch back up to the field before the race will resume, in order to minimise the duration under Safety Car.
