🔄 NEW FOR SERIES 4 (MANDATORY)

• Withdrawing from 2 races = disqualified for the season

• 4 penalty points per missed race

• 10 penalty points = disqualification

• SimGrid driver number must match IFWL.net – failure = DQ

• All drivers must be in the PC Race Control voice chat on Discord on race night – failure = DQ

• Full-season commitment expected – repeated absences = removal and future ban

• Rage quitting or sitting in the pits = DQ and possible removal

• No entry list – open signup weekly

🧱 SERIES STRUCTURE – 3 PHASE FORMAT

Phase 1 – Welcome (Races 1–2)

• Goal: Introduce drivers to IFWL standards

• Stewarding: Minimal (education-based)

• Rules:

  • 1 mandatory pit stop

  • Tyre change not required

  • Refuelling mandatory (fixed time)

  • Pit limiter: automatic

Phase 2 – Development (Races 3–4)

• Goal: Improve etiquette and racecraft

• Stewarding: Beginner-level penalties

• Rules:

  • 2 mandatory pit stops

    • Introduced to discourage “end-of-race” pitting and promote mid-race strategy. This is a trial format to enhance close racing and test drivers.

  • Tyre change not required

  • Refuelling mandatory (fixed time)

  • Pit limiter: automatic

• Race 3: Full driver review – selected drivers must move to Pro-Am

Phase 3 – Full Rules (Races 5–10)

• Goal: Full IFWL rules in effect

• Stewarding: Strict, Pro-Am level

• Rules:

  • 2 mandatory pit stops

    • Continued evaluation of strategic impact and race quality

  • Tyre change not required

  • Refuelling mandatory (fixed time)

  • Failure to complete both stops = DSQ

  • Pit limiter: automatic

• Race 6: Final review – selected drivers must move to Pro-Am

⏱️ RACE SCHEDULE (PC)

• Practice: 19:00 GMT (20 mins)

• Qualifying: 19:20 GMT (10 mins)

• Race: 19:30 GMT (40 mins)

• Total Duration: ~1hr 10 mins

• Rolling practice server available all week

• Incidents: submit within 24h

• Appeals: within next 24h

• Final updates: 72h

• Results posted after 72h on Discord

• Results may show DNS/blank until stewarding is complete

✅ DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• SimGrid driver name & number must match IFWL.net

• Must stay in IFWL Discord all season

• Must join PC Race Control voice chat (muted)

• No rage quitting / idle pitting

• Full attendance required – no selective racing

• 1 DLC tracks used

• Car changes allowed anytime

• No drop rounds

• Pit limiter: automatic

• SimGrid signup must be correct 1hr before race

• No in-game chat during qualifying or race – penalties apply

🎯 DRIVER SKILL & REVIEW

• This series is for beginners only

• Drivers dominating will be moved to Pro-Am (reviews after Race 3 & 6)

• IFWL staff can reassign or remove drivers anytime – compliance required

• Mistakes are part of learning – repeat issues will lead to penalties
