iRacing GT3 Sprint Cup | Season 4

Overview

Welcome to season 4 of the Raceface.Pro GT3 Sprint Cup

This six round series consists of a 45 min race taking place on alternating Tuesday evenings. This is an open setup series.

We will run the same track as the Simucube GT3 Sprint Officials of the week preceeding the league race. Tracks for remaining rounds to be finalised once officials are announced for iRacing Season 3 of 2025.

You will have ONE drop round available during the season.

This series is free to enter.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the series is done here on The Simgrid.

IRATING AND SAFETY RATING

• There is no minimum license required.
• Recommended iRating and Safety Rating: IR 1000 or higher | SR D or HIGHER
• Drivers with an irating above 1800 or drivers with real-world racing experience have to enter in the pro division.
• You can enter Pro if your irating is below 1800 but you know that your are fast :-)

Should drivers enter Pro/Am and their race lap times are close to top drivers in Pro it will be the league organisers prerogative to move you to the Pro division and you will forfeit all your points earned up to that point. Don't sandbag, don't be that guy or girl, it may also lead to you being banned from the league.

The race will be run using the hosted session feature in iRacing - please see the races tab on The Simgrid for the server and password details.

DRIVERS BRIEFING: 20:15
SERVER LIVE: 20:30
PRACTICE: 5 min
QUALIFYING: 10 min (10 Min/4 Laps) - Closed 
RACE: 45 min

DRIVERS BRIEFING: 20:15
SERVER LIVE: 20:30
PRACTICE: 5 min
QUALIFYING: 10 min (10 Min/4 Laps) - Closed 
RACE: 80 min

Race format

18x - Drive Through Penalty
Every 10x thereafter - Drive Through Penalty
40x - DSQ
Unlimited Fast Repairs
1 x mandatory pitstop for 4 x tires is required during the race.
No requirements for fuel.
OPEN SETUP

Weather

Settings will be the same as for the Simucube GT3 Sprint Official Series of the previous week, except where the those races are in the dark or there is rain, the league organiser may choose to change the settings.  This will be communicated a week prior to the race.

STEWARDING

NO LIVE STEWARDING - The first 3 laps of the race will be reviewed for incidents by stewards after race completion. DRIVERS MUST STILL LOG ALL INCIDENTS THEY WISH TO HAVE REVIEWED VIA THE APPROPRIATE FORM on our Discord. Please review the incident logging instructions on our Discord.

LIVE RACE BROADCAST

The races will be live streamed on the Raceface.Pro Youtube Channel.

Life happens and we can't all make all the of the races - if you can't make a race please use the sign-out/withdraw function for that round.
