The league has two separate classes: AM and PRO ( provided we get over 20 participants otherwise we just do a single one ).
All drivers race together, but points are awarded within their own class.
Example: If an AM driver finishes 8th overall but is the highest AM finisher, they receive first place points.
P1โP3: 30 / 25 / 21 pts P4โP6: 18 / 15 / 12 pts P7โP9: 10 / 8 / 6 pts P10โP13: 4 / 3 / 2 / 1 pts P14+: 0 pts
+1 point for the fastest lap in each race.
To encourage clean racing, drivers receive or lose points based on their incident count per race:
AM drivers receive +1 bonus point for each PRO driver they finish ahead of in the race.
This is implemented to encourage cross class fighting and make it not just another multi-class race.
No voice or text chat during the race. Voice and text chat are allowed only during practice and qualifying sessions.
No teaming up or impeding in qualifying. Getting a slipstream by chance is acceptable, but intentionally setting it up between friends is not allowed. Repeated teaming up for slipstream will result in a penalty of starting from the back in the next race. Similarly, drivers should avoid getting in the way of others during their flying laps.
No blocking. Reactionary blocking moves are not allowed. Breaking this rule will result in 1 infraction point.
No divebombs or punt-to-pass moves. When attacking, your car must be under control and leave enough space on the outside for the defending car. Failure to leave space will result in 2 infraction points. In short, no "back off or we crash" moves.
No excessive weaving. Weaving to break the tow is allowed only if the gap behind is greater than 0.3 seconds. Excessive or aggressive weaving will result in 1 infraction point.
Blue flag rules:
If you are lapping another car: Be patient and prioritize overtakes on straights to ensure safety and predictability.
If you are being lapped: Stay on your racing line and do not slow excessively in corners. Wait for a straight and lift slightly to allow the lead car to pass safely.
If you are unlapping yourself: You are allowed to unlap if you are clearly faster. After unlapping, you must build a 2-second gap within 3 laps or give the position back.
Retaliation or intentional wrecking: First offense results in a 2-race ban. Repeating the behavior will result in a kick from the league.
Unsafe rejoins: Will result in 1 to 2 infraction points depending on how dangerous or disruptive the rejoin was.
At 6 infraction points: You will receive a verbal warning.
At 10 infraction points: You will start from the back of the grid in the next race.
At 15 infraction points: You will receive a one-race ban.
At 20 infraction points: You will be banned from the league.
Additional rules about infractions:
Infraction points are reset at the start of each season.
Infraction points are halved at the midpoint of the season.
