SAUSAGE DODGERS RACING - ENDURANCE TOUR – SEASON 2

Welcome to Season 2 of our Endurance Tour, we’re thrilled to be hosting another 8-round season of intense, strategy-driven endurance racing! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a rising star, we can’t wait to see you on the grid, battling for glory in side-by-side, door-to-door action.

We’ll be running the IMSA Calander, and so we will update the circuit listing when final schedule is released by iRacing. We typically have a 2-3 hour hosted practice server on Wednesdays, please feel free to join us!

Please join our Sausage Dodgers Racing Discord https://discord.gg/qphmw8vgBd and the Sausage Dodgers Racing League on iRacing, search for us on ‘Find a League’ in the iRacing UI ‘SAUSAGE DODGERS RACING 11908’.

People returning to us from Season 1 of the Endurance Tour need only apply on SimGrid as you’ll already be in our Discord and iRacing League.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Practice: 19:30 BST - 30min

Qualifying: 20:00 BST - 15min

Race: 20:15 BST - 75 min

SIGN OUTS

If you cannot attend a race please withdraw or sign out from that race in the races tab. If you don't attend a race and don't sign out from that race you will receive 5 penalty points. 10 penalty points will result in automatic disqualification from the championship. 

DROP ROUNDS

There will be 2 dropped rounds for this season.

INCIDENT POINTS

Drive through penalty at x25 followed by drive-through every x10. DSQ at x50.

BONUS POINTS There will be 1 bonus point per race for the fastest lap in each class.

LIVE STREAM

As we gear up for the new season of our sim racing league, we're working hard to bring the action to you live! While we can’t confirm just yet whether the races will be streamed, we’re doing everything possible to make it happen.

STEWARDING

We have been trialling live stewarding in Season 1 and this will likely continue into Season 2, so please be advised that during live stewarded events, we will be reviewing incidents in real time, and issuing penalties for violations of the ‘Racing Rules & Etiquette’, see below for more detail. 

The formation lap and the first two race laps will be judged more strictly than usual, as incidents in these critical early stages can have a major impact on multiple drivers. Any reckless or careless driving during this period may result in harsher penalties than the standard guidelines.
