VELOCITY INTERNATIONAL RACING LEAGUE PRESENTS: The MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS FUN SERIES
Velocity International is a Sim Racing Community born from ACC Console. Over the past year and a half we have grown into 3 ACC Series per Season and over 500 members. This series is the beginning of our iRacing adventure. Join us to help shape the future of our iRacing Community!
Welcome into the Multiverse of Madness! The purpose of this series is to race some car/track combos that you would never see in real life! Don't worry, we've tested each and it will provide some wild racing. This Fun Series will consist of 4 races, with the car/track combos listed below. Each weeks race will be chosen at random 10 minutes before practice begins from the list below. This ensures an even playing field for all participating. Please ignore the car at registration. This is just a placeholder.
SERIES CALENDAR:
All races take place on Sunday starting October 6; with practice start times in Eastern Time (1PM EDT):
- LMDh - Bristol Motor Speedway
- NASCAR Next-Gens - Monza Combined w/out 1st chicane
- VW Beetle - Wild West
- GT4's - Atlanta Motor Speedway
Damage will be disabled for this series to allow drivers to race, not spend large chunks of time in the pits. Servers will be open to the public, and only SimGrid registered participants will score points and be eligible for the Championship.
SCORING:
We will use the SimGrid Linear scoring. Each position is worth 1 point.
RACE DETAILS:
- Open Setups for all races
- Start Type: Rolling Start
- Fast Repairs: N/A
- Incident Multiplier will be off. Drivers to report incidents in Discord after race. Admin may also use in-session stewarding controls
- Assist levels will be set to C-Class iRacing events
- Weather: IRL Weather (No rain possible)
- Track Conditions: Carry-over (Marbles cleaned each session)
- 30 minute FP, 15 minute Qualifying, 45 minute Races
