OVERVIEW
Welcome to the SOP Motorsport GTWC Cup. This brand-new championship will combine the four USA tracks available in the sim with Bathurst and Kyalami to make the GTWC Cup. There will be only one split for this series with a 48-team maximum capacity, so it is on a first come first serve basis. Within your teams, you must have two drivers for every round, but you can change drivers in that team every round if you so wish to. You must be present in the SOP Motorsport DISCORD if you are participating in this championship to see all communications.
Patron members of SOP Motorsport can enter the championship for free. If you would like to become a Patron of SOP Motorsport you can. Please follow This link. It will give you free entry into the championship whilst you are a Patron for the duration of the championship.

Round 5: Teams in 1st, 5th, 10th & 15th All win set up subscriptions to Coach Dave Academy
Round 6: 1st Place: $50USD, 2nd Place: $20USD, 3rd Place: $10USD
REGISTRATION PROCESS
The SOP Motorsport GTWC Cup championship has a $10USD team entry fee payable upon entering. Running as a 2-driver team works out at $5USD a driver for the championship. To register for this championship, click the "Register Team" button and select your team, the drivers of the car, car class and car. As mentioned before, the $10USD team entry fee covers all the costs to run such a championship from the prize pool, administration, servers, broadcasting, and commentary. Teams can register 2 drivers per team upon initial entry but can change every driver at every round if you wish. The drivers must be selected 48 hours before each race. If any changes are made after that there will be a $5USD admin fee. If you wish to participate in this event you will need to join the SOP Motorsport discord to stay up to date and follow us as a host.
EVENT TIMETABLE
Please note round 1 will begin at 20:00 BST due to SRO Esports - giving drivers enough time between both competitions.
Each race - Sundays: Practice - 18:00 BST (10 mins), Drivers Briefing - 18:10 BST (5 mins), Qualifying - 18:15 BST (20 mins), Race - 18:40 BST (90 min races).
STEWARDING
The SOP Motorsport GTWC Cup will have both Live Race stewarding and Post Race stewarding. During the race, you can contact stewards via the discord where we will have a dedicated incident channel and then this same channel can be used for anything post-race that still needs action taken on.
PIT STOPS AND STINTS
The series will impose a 60-minute driver stint limit. There will be no maximum driver time, but each driver must drive at least one stint during each race. Teams will receive a penalty if drivers do not drive a stint or exceed the stint limit. The pit stop rules will be completely free, so no mandatory stops for tyres or fuel at any point in these races.
POINTS SYSTEM
Points will be awarded to the top 30 teams at each race. The points allocated for each position are 1st = 70 to 30th = 1 with 1 extra point up for grabs to the team who record the fastest lap.
ABSENT TEAMMATE
This is a driver swap series where each team is required to have a minimum of 2 drivers at a race. There are no exceptions to this rule. No team can do this series solo. You must ensure your two drivers selected are ready to go 48 hours before the event begins.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
Custom liveries made outside of the game are permitted in this series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game's developers. The Series will be live streamed on Twitch and custom liveries can be shared with the stream broadcaster in a dedicated channel on the SOP Motorsport discord. Let us see who can be the most adventurous within the boundaries. Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see the team banned from the series. To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries cause, we suggest that teams run the livery but without the .png file. Do not run the liveries of other teams under any circumstances. The files are shared for use by the broadcaster only.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES
If a team is unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the "Races" tab, and then "Admin" on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Teams are permitted one withdrawal in this series. Missing a race without withdrawal will result in disqualification. If a team has withdrawn from a race but wishes to attend the race after all, please contact a member of the Event Admin team as the slot may have already been filled by a Reserve team. If you are a reserve team, you can see if teams have withdrawn from a round on the same "Admin" tab on each round. If you see a team has withdrawn and you wish to take their place, please contact a member of the Event Admin team.
