EVENT FORMAT
Start Time
Races will be held on
Saturdays. Server will be reset at
3pm EST/8pm BST for practice and will transition to qualifying and then to the main race. Times for each session are as follows:
- Free Practice: 45 mins (3pm EST/8pm BST)
- Qualifying: 15 mins (3:45pm EST/8:45pm BST)
- Race: 45 mins (4pm EST/9pm BST)
Track Selection
As the name suggests, track selection for this series will be voted on every week by the drivers! At the beginning of each race week, a poll will be posted that will allow drivers the opportunity to vote between 2 tracks for the one they desire to race on for that given week. The tracks pinned against eachother on the poll will have similar qualities or be of similar race length per lap. For example,
Donington wouldn't get pinned against
Spa not only because of the popularity difference between both, but also because the track style and length are vastly different. To also add a fun aspect to this selection, a
Mystery option is also available to vote on if you don't like the tracks presented for that week. If the mystery option wins, a random track from the list that did not make the original calendar will be chosen instead. The voting poll will be posted over at โ ๐โ๐๐ง๐ฐ-๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ.
Weather
The weather conditions for each race will be based on
real life weather. However, instead of announcing the weather on the actual day of the race, it will be announced on
Monday evening right after confirming the most voted on track for the that upcoming race week. This will give you more time to practice with the exact weather conditions that will be used.
In-Game Time
While weather and temperature will be based on real life conditions on race day, in-game race time will include a transition from either day to night, or night to day. This is a happy medium for those who wish for more night time racing but don't want to completely abandon racing during daylight. To facilitate a full transition, the in-game time multiplier will be set to x2.

DISCORD
Signups for the series will take place on the ANIMUS discord server. Everything will be organized through the server, and you can view the full detailed calendar, driver list, and attendance post there. The SimGrid post will be updated accordingly if any changes are made to the series or if no more driver slots are left. Join and signup today!
