OVERVIEW
Welcome to the DLC Welcome Party at rapiddrivers.club!
This is a single driver one off event, with a choice of one of the following cars:
- Ferrari 488 Challenge (17 slots)
- Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (16 slots)
- BMW M2 CS Racing (16 slots)
- Lamborghini Huracan ST EVO (16 slots)
- Audi R8 EVO 2 (17 slots)
There will be only a single split for this series, with 82 slots, and they will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
In order to state your intent, you can register to the car you want, with the existing cars already in the game. Once the DLC drops and SimGrid update the car list, we will update all entries to reflect your choice.
REGISTRATION
Entries will close on the 23rd March 2022 at 23:59 UTC.
Please join the Rapid Drivers Club discord to keep up to date with all event details. This is also the only way you will be able to report incidents during or after the race.
EVENT TIMETABLE
This event will take part on a Thursday, on the 24th of March.
Practice (15 minutes) - 19:00 UTC (Drivers Briefing at 19:10 UTC)
Qualifying (30 minutes) - 19:15 UTC (First 10 minutes CS, Second 10 minutes ST & Challenge, Third 10 minutes GT3 & Cup)
Race (90 minutes) - 19:45 UTC
STEWARDING
This series will have only Post Race stewarding.
RULES
PIT STOPS AND STINTS
There is one mandatory pitstop for fuel and tyres and a 60 minute pit window will be enforced.
POINTS SYSTEM
Points will be awarded progressively for all positions.
CUSTOM LIVERIES
The use of custom liveries made outside of the game is permitted in this series but please bear in mind that they are not officially supported by the game developers and their use can induce significant lag for the user.
Any politically charged or potentially offensive material on a custom livery will see that driver banned from the series.
To avoid the significant lag that custom liveries bring, we suggest that drivers run the livery but without the .png file.
WITHDRAW AND RESERVES
If a driver is unavailable to attend a round in the championship, then use the withdraw function. This is found by clicking on the "Races" tab, and then "Admin" on the round you need to withdraw from. There you will find the withdraw button. Drivers are permitted two withdrawals in this series. Missing a race without withdrawal will result the deduction of five points from the championship.
