FORMAT
We will be running two formats: An Endurance format, and a Sprint Format. Round 2 (Barcelona), Round 5 (Nurburgring), and Round 7 (Donington Park) will run the Sprint format.
Each event will begin with 20 minutes of qualifying, before moving to the race session. The first 10 minutes of qualifying are reserved for the GT4 class, and the final 10 minutes of qualifying are reserved for the GT3 class.
The Endurance format will feature a 75-minute race. The Sprint format will feature a 30-minute race, followed by a 45-minute race. Each Sprint Race will give half the regular points. There is 1 point for Fastest Lap in each race.
All races have 1 mandatory pit stop for tyres. Dynamic weather is enabled. There is 1 drop round per competitor.
STEWARDING
There will be live stewarding and post-race stewarding/appeals throughout the event. Any incidents will be reviewed and punished as per the Rulebook. You will be able to protest decisions through the appropriate forms linked in the Discord.
LIVERIES
Custom liveries will be enabled for this event. A form will be made available in the Discord for uploading. In-game created liveries should also be uploaded.
ELIGIBILITY
Verified students signed up to NSE are eligible to compete in the GT3 class. Verified alumni signed up to NSE are eligible to compete in the GT4 class.
Please note that the maximum number of participants that are able to compete in each event is 50. In the event that more than 50 drivers sign up, preference will be given to students (GT3) first, then to alumni (GT4) in the order that participants are listed on SimGrid.
If you are unable to attend a certain event, we strongly encourage you to sign out of the specific event as this may allow your race spot to go to another driver.
CARS
All GT3 and GT4 cars are eligible for this series. Drivers will only be allowed to change car if they have not competed in a competitive event of this championship, or if their NSE status is changed mid-season.
